The head of the 389 Steering Committee of Lang Son province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dương Xuân Huyên, requested the Border Guard Command of Lang Son Province, the Lang Son Customs Department, the Lang Son Police Department, the Lang Son Market Management Department, the Animal Quarantine Department of Region 7, the Standing Office of the 389 Steering Committee of the Province, and the 389 Steering Committees of the border districts to strengthen measures to prevent and handle cases of illegal trade and transportation of poultry and poultry products across the border; inspect and monitor the anti-smuggling activities of functional units to prevent negative aspects, linked with enhancing the role and responsibility of the heads of agencies, units, and localities in inspecting and monitoring officials performing official duties.
At the same time, the Head of the Committee also requested to strengthen inspection and control of imported and exported goods to detect, prevent, and promptly handle violations.
